Credentialing Preparation

Picture
With the introduction of new legislative and regulatory requirements, it is not enough to simply train staff, but rather they must be credentialed as well. By implementing training programs via Full Potential, it prepares staff for credentialing at all levels from behavior Technician to BCBA. Because Full Potential works closely with credentialing agencies, all coursework is approved and better prepares people for the remaining credentialing requirements as set out by the credentialing agencies (QABA, BACB).

By meeting all credentialing requirements, organizations better insure quality, reduce risk.

BACB

The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) credentials at three levels:
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
please contact me

QABA

The Qualified Applied Behavior Analyst Certification Board (QABA) credentials at two levels:
  • Applied Behavior Analyst Technician (ABAT)
  • Qualified Autism Services Practitioner (QASP)
By establishing the QASP and ABAT Credentials the QABA aims to raise the accountability of those paraprofessionals and direct support professionals who are providing behavioral health services to individuals diagnosed with Autism and other related disabilities. The intent of the credentials is to set a standard for certifying those individuals at two levels who will be working under an approved provider or other licensed or certified individual within the scope of practice of applied behavior analysis for the protection of all stakeholders.
All candidates completing both approved ABA coursework and QASP and ABAT credentials, are entered in to the QABA Board's public registry which is accessed online via the QABA website.
